Hello Artists,
The information regarding the Elgin’s Writer’s Guild invitation to our guild to provide an image for their book cover is here. This was first mentioned at the November meeting with the promise to follow up with more info.
BOOK THEME:
Attached are two excerpts from stories written by two different artists. They are meant to suggest the diversity of the stories that will be in the book with the overall theme of ‘small town’ signifying that all the writers are from a small town.
Deadline: Thursday February 29th, 2024.
Where to send image: Send to James Miller at crimsonknightrmt@yahoo.ca
Do consider sending work earlier than the deadline – anytime would be fine.
When you send your images, be sure they are labeled properly.
James will make a presentation of the submissions and their group will select the three finalists, at which point we can arrange for the Writer’s Guild to see the three actual works in person so that they can make their final choice.
